Due to changes in parking times this walk will start in Vickers Way where we can park all day. This is the road beyond the railway to the south of the cemetery. If you have any queries make sure that you call David Dean

Reminder of Llandrindod Wells weekend away  9th-12th October

A total of 32 people have booked for the break.

The planned walks are :

Friday, starting at the picnic area at the junction of Maldwyn Way and the B4385 (about 300yds beyond postcode SY15 6PH). You should allow 2 hours from Northwich with the walk starting at 11.30. The walk is 6.5 miles with 900 feet of ascent. Please advise Andy if you’re not planning on walking.

Saturday, from the hotel. The basic walk is 6 miles with 1000 feet of ascent, but there are several optional loops increasing this to 7.5 miles and 1300 feet.

Sunday, drive to Elan Valley Visitor Centre (LD6 5HP).The walk is 8.5 miles and 900 feet of ascent and has the option of stopping to await pick up from 4.5 miles.

Monday, starting at the car park on Bridge Street, Caersws SY17 5DT, just 5.5 miles and 350 feet of ascent.
